TWELVE DAYS TRIP TO THE UGANDA’ S JUNGLE
You will be having the pearl of Africa within 12 days. The beauty and serenity of Uganda where you will appreciate nature.
The Kibale forest, lake Mburo, Lake Victoria, the L. Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda, the Bwindi impenetrable the home of Gorillas, the Switzerland of Uganda, the equator lines and so many unique places.

Day 1 | Arrive at the Airport Entebbe On your arrival at the airport Entebbe, you will be picked by our driver and tour guide to take you to the booked hotel. A breakfast, lunch or dinner will be saved to you depending on the arrival time. If the arrival time is conveniency, a plan for the afternoon will be made that may include visiting the botanical garden in Entebbe, swimming or having an evening walk around the showers of Lake Victoria. Overnight will be taken in Entebbe Bird watching is a very calming and beautiful moment for the bird watchers. Such moments can’t be missed to be captured. Binoculars will get for you animals and birds at a further distance. |
Day 2 | To Murchison Falls National Park After the early morning breakfast, you will then set off towards the northwest of Uganda, Visit the impressive Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the Rhinos and have lunch along the way. You will later continue to Murchison Falls National Park, take a short stop at the top of the falls, to view how the great Nile makes its way through a 7meters gorge with thunderous drops of more than 43 meters below. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 | Boat Cruise at the Nile River The morning will be taken by A game drive towards the northern bank of great R. Nile and with the guides help various animals will be viewed. You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast, rest and thereafter lunch. Afternoon will come along with a boat cruise where you will see variety of animals like hippos, giant crocodiles, birds, elephants, water ducks and many other animals species. As the sun sets, a clear view of the birds getting back to their steads, the storks, egret, eagles. With your binoculars, a beauty moment of the safari is taken. Heading back to the hotel after an exhaustive beautiful long day. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 | Transfer to the Fort Portal the Tourism City of Uganda You will now head to the tourism city of Uganda early morning after your breakfast through the Albertine escarpment of the western Rift Valley. This is located in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountain the Mountain of the moon. A lot of beauty in the land should be on your expectations during this adventurous journey. A stopover along the way to have lunch and then continue up to Fort portal the tourism city for dinner and overnight. |
Day 5 | Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park Early Morning of fifth day, you will be driven by our driver to the Kanyachu visitors centre for briefing before being led into the forest by the assigned ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife authority team to lead us through the chimpanzee tracking adventure which is the highlight of our safari. Walking through the rain forest will be a mazing experience. You will also have more chances to come across other primates like the red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and also have a reasonable distance to the chimpanzee. On finding the chimpanzee, you will have an hour plus with them before retuning to the hotel for with an option of crater walk in the afternoon or Bigodi wetland community walk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park After your Breakfast, you will be departing to Queen Elizabeth National Park which will be another scenic drive on the foothill of Mount Rwenzori and seeing some of its glaciations on a clear day. Along this route, banana, tomatoes and maize and cotton plantations are the green experience you will meet along the way for the local’s farmlands before passing through Kasese town a very famous for copper mining during colonial era and with several water bodies above all mountainous. On the arrival at the lodge, and lunch will be saved. An evening game drive for a chance of seeing lions, buffalos, elephants (the biggest land mammals), Uganda Kobs, variety of birds species and leopards depending the time.

Day 7 | Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel This day we will wakeup early morning around 6AM with an aim of having a glimpse of the early risers. Chances are always high to meet the king of the jungle in action, buffalos grazing, birds watching and different colourful butterflies in space. The morning game drive is quite short as we to go back to the lodge and grab our breakfast and lunch. Waiting for the afternoon to come so as we calm the afternoon heat at the Kazinga Channel. The boat cruise is just more than a memorable adventure that will take us to variety of wildlife that is water birds, hippos, and crocodiles, mention but a few. Its a moment of having our beautiful pictures for lasting memories. The boat cruise is relaxing as its slow and refreshing enjoying some Africa’s beats.

Day 8 | Tree Climbing Lions and Transfer to Bwindi After early Morning breakfast, you will be drive to Ishasha the south part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This two hrs drive is very adventurous as you will see more wildlife and we go through Maramagambo forest the largest rain forest in Uganda. A game drive in Ishasha will give you a chance of seeing the famous tree climbing lions, hyenas, mor elephants and a true wildlife scape. Since the place is closer to River Camp, Lunch can be saved their and then you continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home for Gorillas. Achieving this, you will drive through hills and mountains of traced land for locals. Dinner and rest will be taken at a booked hotel as waiting for Gorilla trekking.

Day 9 | Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi After your morning breakfast, you will be presented to the parks office where the groups are allocated. A ranger guide will be assigned and armed officer to protect you as you make the trek in the forest. The ranger uses radio communication to know the exact location of the gorillas. Upon finding the gentle giants, spending a good quality time with them as you enjoy seeing them feeding and playing with their young ones. Then trek back out of the forest and proceed to the lodge where dinner will be saved. This will make the goodbye for completion of the highlights of the eight days tour,

Day 10 | Lake Bunyonyi Adventure Here comes the deepest lake in Uganda found in Kabale district of Uganda, the Land of traced hill and also known as the Switzerland of Uganda. Bunyonyi is also rich in beautiful amazing birds as Bunyonyi mean birds in the local language. You will take your boat ride after your lunch as you explore the various bird species on the islands. Dinner and overnight is taken at the Bunyonyi Resort.

Day 11 | Lake Mburo National Park Lake Mburo National Park is also rich in birds with over 250 bird’s species like Carruthers, brown-faced lapwings, mention but a few. Though its the smallest national park in Uganda, its amazing and beautiful. A brief stopover to have a game drive in Lake Mburo will take you to a view of lots of wildlife like zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes and many more fauna and flora. A campfire at the showers of Lake Mburo as you experience the sights and sounds of the hippos, monkeys and bird, dinner and over night in the lake Mburo national park or taking the optional of having a 200km drive to Mpanga forest resort for dinner and over night depending on the time.

Day 12 | Drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe for the flight Back Early morning breakfast at Mpanga Forest Resort or depending on your departure, you may decide accompanied forest walk or proceed to Kampala and tour Kampala city, cultural sites, craft shops or even zoo in Entebbe. Our driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure. This will mark of your 12 days adventure in Uganda the Pearl of Africa. |
