DESCRIPTIONS ACTIVITIES
Day 1

Arrive at the Airport Entebbe

On your arrival at the airport Entebbe, you will be picked by our driver and tour guide to take you to the booked hotel. A breakfast, lunch or dinner will be saved to you depending on the arrival time.

If the arrival time is conveniency, a plan for the afternoon will be made that may include visiting the botanical garden in Entebbe, swimming or having an evening walk around the showers of Lake Victoria. Overnight will be taken in Entebbe

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked by our driver and tour guide to start a 5-6 hrs journey to Kibale forest National Park a home of primates via a several Mityana- Mubende and Kyenjojo before entering Fort Portal town which a very green city covered by tea and banana plantations.

You will also have an opportunity to have a beautiful clear scenery of the Mountain of the Moon (Mt Rwenzori)

On the arrival at the lodge, a lunch will be saved, rest taken and later go for community or camp walk as we prepare our primate expedition.

A good walk will expose you to a lot of locals, primates such as black and white colobus and red-tailed monkeys lots of birds’ species and many other adventurously experiences in the Bigodi wetland. Dinner and overnight will be taken at the hotel.

 

Day 3

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

Early Morning of Day three, you will be driven by our driver to the Kanyachu visitors centre for briefing before being led into the forest by the assigned ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife authority team to lead us through the chimpanzee tracking adventure which is the highlight of our safari.

Walking through the rain forest will be a mazing experience. You will also have more chances to come across other primates like the red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and also have a reasonable distance to the chimpanzee. On finding the chimpanzee, you will have an hour plus with them before retuning to the hotel for with an option of crater walk in the afternoon.

 

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your Breakfast, you will be departing to Queen Elizabeth National Park which will be another scenic drive on the foothill of Mount Rwenzori and seeing some of its glaciations on a clear day.

Along this route, banana, tomatoes and maize and cotton plantations are the green experience you will meet along the way for the local’s farmlands before passing through Kasese town a very famous for copper mining during colonial era and with several water bodies above all mountainous.

On the arrival at the lodge, and lunch will be saved. An evening game drive for a chance of seeing lions, buffalos, elephants (the biggest land mammals), Uganda Kobs, variety of birds species and leopards depending the time.

Return to the lodge/hotel for dinner and taking a rest to prepare for the a more adventurous day.

 

Day 5

Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel

Early morning breakfast and immediately setoff with our driver and guide to Kasenyi open area for a morning game drive. Viewing, you, you might be lucky enough to see the lions in action.

A sun raise in the wilderness is more wonderful since more animals will be seen at that time. This will give you a better experience of the Uganda’s Fauna and Flora.  You will then return to the lodge for lunch

Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. This is a very worthy boat ride since it will bring you closer to the water birds like Kingfisher, eagles, and many more, reptiles like crocodiles and monster lizards, hippos, in addition to plenty of buffalos, and lots of other wild animals.

You will then be returned to the hotel for dinner and an overnight.

 

Day 6

Tree Climbing Lions and Transfer to Bwindi

After early Morning breakfast, you will be drive to Ishasha the south part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This two hrs drive is very adventurous as you will see more wildlife and we go through Maramagambo forest the largest rain forest in Uganda. A game drive in Ishasha will give you a chance of seeing the famous tree climbing lions, hyenas, mor elephants and a true wildlife scape.

Since the place is closer to River Camp, Lunch can be saved their and then you continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home for Gorillas. Achieving this, you will drive through hills and mountains of traced land for locals.

Dinner and rest will be taken at a booked hotel as waiting for Gorilla trekking.

 

Day 7

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After your morning breakfast, you will be presented to the parks office where the groups are allocated. A ranger guide will be assigned and armed officer to protect you as you make the trek in the forest. The ranger uses radio communication to know the exact location of the gorillas. Upon finding the gentle giants, spending a good quality time with them as you enjoy seeing them feeding and playing with their young ones.

Then trek back out of the forest and proceed to the lodge where dinner will be saved. This will make the goodbye for completion of the highlights of the eight days tour,

 

Day 8

Transfer Back to Kampala

You will have early morning breakfast before setting off to a 9hrs drive to Kampala or to Entebbe for you back flight.

An amazing scenic drive through the rolling traced hills of the Switzerland of Africa, lunch can be on the way and a must stop at the Equator for refreshment and buying some souvenirs in the remembrance of Uganda the pearl of Africa.
